About LinkBacksHB rivers are pretty much stuffed for the short term. I went with a few mates to Taupo for a golf and tennis weekend and decided to take a rod. Fished the Hinemaiaia last Sunday. Very cold but primo day. Plenty of fish, clear and low river. Spawning fish in great nick. Mildly hung over. No shortage of other anglers. Caught a couple and went home. I think I'll be spending a bit more time in the region till or rivers come right.
