About LinkBacksThough we did not catch any trout but son was pretty keen on going fishing. Took him out to Manawatu as it's just a 10mn walk from home. He was chuffed as but I was too afraid to be there without a freshwater fishing license. It's sunny here today and he is going to pester me again for taking hm fishing so need to sort out the license asap. Another thing I don't want him to get discouraged coz of not catching anything so anyone familiar with this area please suggest where we ill have high chances of catching anything. Size species doesn't matter. We were using Mepps spinners for lures.
