I have caught the same fish more than once in a few spots for sure. I've actually caught the same fish twice inside 15 minutesso I guess there a good chance for most. My technique for release follows that outlined in my last linked post.
Both fish posted lying in the stones I wouldn't give better than 10% chance of living if I was betting on it.
