Thread: Catching crabs

I do know that paddle crabs can go a long time without food, years ago I set up a sea water aquarium and put all sorts of stuff in it including paddle crabs, off course by overloading the system most everything died and had to be removed including what I thought were all the paddle crabs...I turned the pumps and air off as I thought nothing was alive and off course the tank glass became thick with algae...months later I looked in the tank from the top and seen what looked like crab eyes, using a stick I went to dig it out and holy shit a big crab had a go at the stick...I cleaned the tank up and restarted the air and filters and gave it another load of sea water and that crab lived for a long time after that.
