Thread: Charter of your dreams in March?

OK, so if money was no object who would you recomend for a full charter 3-4 days out of Northland in March. Marlin, sailfish etc. Must be a big boat and top notch crew!!

Thanks LR , had a look, the Kings was the plan Ex northland where ever. Anyone else??? Looking for a good crew, not some moody, semi retired ex-farmer typ, not in anyway saying that they may be, jujst looking for personal experainces........... (you know what I mean).................Party of 5 with 2 principle fisherman.

Who did you go with mate? Plus's and minuses? Warts n all. PM if you need to, Looking at March 2013. 5 days or so, Marlin and whatever else...........

There's a few that operate out of Whangaroa mate. Try Reel Passion, Gladiator or primetime. I havent been on them personally sorry.. Whangaroa is a good spot to target marlin and good pub there for a feed and few beers. Nice spot. Good luck

Mate if you can still get a spot on Enchanter or Pursuit to go to the kings you will have the time of your life. Very good boats and very pro crews. Let them do the catering for you to.

-1 for Enchanter - In my view Lance is a arogant ashole that made my trip with him a dissapointment - and have had a workmate that went on the kings trip with them and he will also will never step foot on the boat again.he is one of the rudest belittiling people i have met!

Hmmmmm seems pursuit is out for the dates i want. Might check out a few of those other north
ern boats, any particularly good boats/crews come to mind?

there is a few charters running out of houhora. closer to the kings less travel time on the water. thease guys are local and know the area well. prob cheaper than charters from whangaroa or bay of islands. there is some excellent fishing to be had off houhora as well. check it out. i know all this coz i use to live there.

look up on web mkcharters houhora.. they have got a couple of boats. do 3 kings and also local out from houhora for snappers kingis etc mkcharters, or mkfishingcharters its on there u will find it.
