I've repainted a load of metal jigs, but the paint chips off quite easily. Any thoughts on a clear coat/epoxy that I could dip them in to give a bit more resilience? Preferably something that isn't going to stink for ages afterwards. Cheers.

Zink it on TV, the new clear one? Wouldn't be as hard as epoxy but probably easier to touch up and cheaper.
Two pot clear works well. Use the one that truck painters use as a top / overcoat. It is not brittle hard when set so resists chipping.
