Thread: Electric reel - power supply options?

Would you not be fishing on the drift with the engine running? If so wouldn't be an issue to run off the main start battery.

I've got a dual batt setup but my boats to small to go hunt the deep water....my second batt is a medium agm and is just used as a total loss system and charge at home.....I haven't got a electric reel but I imagine it would handle a day on a charge as it will easily do 2 days running sounder and stereo.
