Thread: Entry level surfcast rod

I've got a 14' 2 piece surfcaster I got at the Warehouse about 20 years ago. I've replaced the butt section with a broomstick twice and repaired and replaced rings as I broke 'em. it always worked, caught (and still catches) a ton of fish.

Don't get hung up on specs.

14 foot for reach.

Use the included reel until it breaks, worry about a better reel then.

You won't catch fish until you get a bait/lure in the water.
