    Fish finder for inflatable

    Anyone have any suggestions? looking at the cheaper end of the market to match my "boat" setup, not sure where to start.

    iv been looking at one for my kayak, was leaning towards a lowrance hook2 x4, pretty cheap at 150 bucks, has track plotter as well for marking spots but no gps.

    I have that one, has a GPS but no chart plotter you can mark waypoints comes with cable and transducer I only fish in 30M of water max for blue cod mostly and a bit of trout trolling, I cant really be confident of seeing fish on it but it gives a rough bottom profile and depth reading and seems user friendly. https://www.marine-deals.co.nz/lowra...let-transducer

    Yeah, the Hook2-4x or Hook2-5x are pretty good value. The 5x gives you a much better screen and downview. Can run on a battery pack if you want. Tie a plastic bag over it to keep the water off, can still see screen and operate. I did the same exercise with my $500 yak and went for the 5x, it's the optics on your boat.
