    my older Sisters went one better,told me the pavalova would fall flat if any noise while it was in the oven...4 hours of peace n quiet AND IT GETS BETTER.....I didnt twig to the con until was married and wife was making a pav and wondered why I was creeping around like a mouse...she nearly wet herself when I told her why..laughing so hard she couldnt tell me for ages....
    older sisters are cunning.
    Grandparents more so.
