But every now and then the odd horse wanders past and inhales your bait and things get crazy good,

Got out today , conditions much more pleasant, headed out to Cape Scoius headed straight out to 35 meters which wasn’t far, dropped anchor , massive tides heaps of current, first fish on board was a bloody spikie which concerned me, but young Aaron rods bent and the reel howled and the crew were pumped with excitement. Line lost line gained …the line lost in a screaming run …fark …slowly slowly the fish was eased the surface …a very solid fish pushing 15 pound was hauled aboard…that was the start of a hours solid fishing , couple of good snaps , gurnard , Kawahai and then the shit fish showed up , the burely ran out and the sun beat down ….home time .

Epic weekend of fantastic company , and good fishing .

Thanks VC Roktoy and family ! Good yarns good food great times ..cheers
Good stuff, you need to fish during the week when I don't work , mind you with my buggered arm I wouldn't be able to wind up those big fish anyway.
    Happy Jack.
