    My go-to estuary/river mouth fly is a Fritz, basically a Wooly Bugger tied using sparkle chenille

    Good colours are white, lime green, and black with a uv blue highlight.

    Variations include dumbbell eyes and buck tail for longer/more durable tails.

    Tie some red thread behind the bead/dumbbell to simulate gills
