Thread: Fly fishing in Mongolia-want to come?

For the last six months we have been planning a fishing trip in Mongolia, a fair wack of the transport is to be done by moterbike.

Due to events outside his control one of our party has had to pull out. We are still going to go anyway but as the trip is planned around four people I thought I would check if there are any others interested.

When?

Fark I'd be in Res but there enough in Taupo for me and I have a large investment in Bach, boat and fishing her! It's not a place on my fuckit list, thanks for the offer!

Sorry I have not got back to you all,it been a hectic couple of days.

One keen bugger who had some advance knowledge of what we were up to tracked down my phone number and rung me and as long as he can sort the time off the spot is taken.

It's a seven week trip in five months time,targeting everything that we can get permits for. And a few other activities taking up some time.

Hopefully I'll write a story up about it as I have been getting some flack about that lately

I went through Mongolia on a train 10 years back - A place I wish we had stopped and saw more of. To go and fish or hunt it would be absolutely amazing. Hope you guys have a ball!
