    good haul from wairarapa

went out for a fish yesterday since the forecast was for light winds upto 5knts. we got out there to find a 25knt wind that was ment to raise to 50knts according to another group who had just talked to the coastguard. we decided to head out anyway but no go very far. we managed a good haul of blue cod, some upto 45cm long. a few terries and a dozen fucking barracuta after about an hour and a half we called it quits.Name: 20141125_165856.jpg

I'm drawn to the mountains and the bush, it's where life is clear, where the world makes the most sense.

yeah i love it down here the further south you go the better it gets. ocean beach is a bloody nice spot to throw a line in its one of my favourites the diving is pretty good to crays galore.

Remember the steep road in and cooking PAUA and Crays on a piece of corrugated iron one day. Are any of the baches left there now?
