Thread: Jigging for Cod down South

Why bother thinking of new techniques? There's so many cod in the deep South, it's no challenge to catch them. A boring old long shank hook and any bait works, hell even a bit of white rag at a pinch.

One thing you don't want is small gear as the buggers swallow stuff deep and it's impossible to get it out without killing them.
