+1 cod tear them up. I like 6/0 flasher rigs baited with squid as I think trumpeter and teraki are more likely to grab them than plain old bait alone and cod like them too, although nothing beats a longshank cod hook for ease of unhooking . Flasher rigs are cheap as chips, even cheaper than marine deals on aliexpress and the quality seems fine.
