Thread: Kaweka Trout

Took the new hunter out late last week for more summer season Trout.

The hot day temps and low water levels in the Kaweka rivers this year make for some stunning fishing

A bit of a swim first just to cool off....


Then we are into it



Another swim around lunchtime then easing into the afternoon we fool a few more


Picture perfect conditions and plenty of swimming in the nicest possies and our day was done

I really enjoy freshwater fishing, - while the 308 sits nicely on me back

Nice looking fish!
