Thread: learn how to catch trout

If you don't want to join a club then it could be worth starting by getting a rod watchig a few vids on youtube on how to cast then go outside and cast at things. A hula hop would be a go'er just practice at different ranges. Once you start nailing it most of the time then ask on the forum and I'm sure someone will tell you what fly for the area and time of day and such. Then its a simple matter of getting a trout licence and getting out there doing it
