I've seen a few Youtube videos, all from the US were they successfully use marshmellows for bait. Has anyone tried this technique?

Don’t think they would make onto the hook on my boat.
They feed them to the alligators in the swamps around New Orleans
What are you wanting to catch?
Overkill is still dead.
I think you need a big credit card to catch one of those
may be sarcastic may be a bad joke
Catch & release is quick & much cheaper.
Don’t know about up there but down here ya can get blue cod on anything, lolly wrapper, peas , orange peel , even managed to get them with ear plugs
Good for carp and trout. Not legal for trout, but in some places (e.g. Twizel canals), F&G rules seem to be very loosely interpreted.
I caught a 44lb Salmon on marshmallows in ship creek Alaska.
Caught most of the king salmon on marshmallows, probably some springs too.
