    If I had $350ish for my budget am I on the right track for a color job like this:
    Lowrance Elite-4x HDI Fishfinder incl 83/200kHz Transducer - Fish Finders - Marine Electronics
    That would do for you if you only plan for occasional use and water depth up to 50m (realistically work I mean, not what the salesman will say)
    My only concern would be the screen size is too wee. They are a good unit for the money (although really i should say they are poo since we are no longer the NZ agents fro Lowrance )
