    One for the smoker

The radio burst into life for the 2nd time ,9 minutes had lapsed .Again Shadow nuzzled me ,he wanted to go fishing too.So reluctantly dragged my tired ass out of bed & dressed with sleepy eyes . An hour later on the beach with a lazy breeze making sure I was awake now. With a big yellow ball over head it was almost like daylight & the resulting big tide made it a lot further to the water edge even with tide a little past half way out.
A couple of hours came n went & a routine checking baits I seemed to have a fish on .Light flicked on to revile a nice Kahawai doing flip flops in the shore wash. A nice 3kg-ish fish destined for the smoker,a look at the watch it was 3.00am.
An hour later heading home with kai on-board ,life not too bad some times.

    Life is good Chris
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
