Pengy Package Has A Swim

I gave them all a swim tonight @Pengy except the 'gulp' which I will try when we are near the coast.:)

First one I hooked up looked a bit like a whu whu grub it got wet.:)

I got down there at 1830hrs to wash the baits.:)

Next one I gave a swim was this fly looking thing and I had to pierce a hole to get the nylon thru:)

Washed another softbait as my dog was looking at something or some one.

Ready to give my streamers ago just as the trout started to rise at 2000hrs and the spilt shot got wrapped around the tip of the rod and couldn't re tie the the bloody knot as it was too dark.:(

Will keep yas all posted when I get pengy trout:thumbsup:

Trout fishing is getting far to technical Dundee. You should just stick with the dynamite.

I have been carrying one in my day bag for years. No float line or lead line. Folds to next too nothing. Mullet net. Never caught anything big, but had many a feed.

I get the sense that there is much you could teach us all Spook. Survival made easy

I do what I can to rid a non indigenous pest from our waterways that should be the habitat for our native fishes.

The little blue wing things are just something I have used as a bit of flash on Snap and kahawai rigs. Thought they may adda bit of extra attraction in coloured water

One tip if I may Mr Dundee. Get rid of all that shit above the jig head. Tie the fluro/trace straight to the jig head. Not only will it swim better but the fish wont be put off.
Stop being a lazy arse and using a snap swivel :P

I have tried without the snap swivel on the soft baits and the nylon just twists on retrieval. So will stick with it.:P

Your call. I have had my say. I would sooner put a swivel from main line to trace so the jig operates correctly. What would i know, i dont even fish for trout :D

DD. Try using a Uni knot to tie the jig head on, but do not tighten it all the way down to the jig head, thus forming a small loop.

Fark it I'll just take the rifle:D

Or figure eight :D even easier ;)
