I'm not sure if there's many other options but circular polarized lenses don't get the same penetration as linear lenses. My focus is only as fishing glasses though so will have quite different needs.
Thanks James. I am looking at these as mainly fishing glasses so how they perform outside of that isn't a big issue.
Your Smiths are photochromatic? or are you saying the ones you have are too dark? I see Spotter have a photochromatic lens option but I have never used that sort of lens before.

Yes photochromic with Techlite Polarchromic lenses. Not a fan of the polycarbonate Chromapop.
I'd probably buy Spotters again over the Smiths. I had a pair that were stolen. I bought my last pair of Spotters direct from Australia and the service was fantastic. Even threw in a free cap. The Smith's are maybe a little lighter. I've also some Ray Bans that are fantastic for every day wearing.

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds
