    re fishing licence

I want to purchase a family fishing licence. Given that the licence period runs from 1 Oct 2012 to 30 Sept 2013 am I going to have to pay full price even though there are only 5 and half months left?

You could hold off & buy a winter license bout half the price I think but check on the F&G web site .

Yes I see that now, the Winter licence is less and runs from 1 April to Sept 30. No winter family licence option though, have to buy separate licences for each family member. Still cheaper though...

Get a family licence fallow, it will put feed on the table and if you at the canals you only need one trout compared with a months catch up here
