I'll just add something to this video. When we were up in the Territory in 2015, me and the boys fished for barra very carefully but quite successfully off the banks of several rivers, with the wife sitting in a "surveillance" position overlooking the river bank.
We were gobsmacked to see Aussies sitting on the prow of the tiniest wee tinnies, not 50cm above the water, fishing with very large drift baits and on one occasion, burley!!!!
One time a husband and wife fisho couple came and joined us at our camp for the evening, and I said to them, you know, I watched you sitting on the prow and the wife could see the crocs, could you? No wuckin' furries mate, she says. She couldn't have cared less.
I asked her, have you ever been to Hartley's Crocodile Adventures, and seen the crocs leap for the chickens? Sure she had!
