Thread: Selling rec catch

My understanding of the rules is unless you are a licensed commercial fisherman you can not sell your recreational catch.
The only exception I know of is whitebait and that needs to stop as well.
I remember those pricks at the Coromandel boat ramp loaded up with Maomao, off to Asian restaurants in Auckland.
Shame someone didn't do something too seriously discourage them from returning and slaughtering the local fish population , once they get little opposition and good returns the greed factor kicks in, last thing they care about is the Marine environment, it's all about the money.
