This is Anastasia. She's a 26" Glass and GOP Pelin Empress and is a very tidy and proud old girl. Previous owner was a Sheetmetal specialist so the old inboard ford was removed and hardtop, transom, and swim platform built in alloy and she now sports a 200 optimax on the back and 20hp Mercury aux for trolling and pottering about. We originally looked for a 5-6m trailer boat but were pretty disheartened with the insane prices the second hand market was demanding recently (10 year old packages selling more than new, massive waiting lists for new etc)
She's got a berth at Te Anau Marina and has a trailer also but we have decided to keep her on her berth and couldn't be happier, we struggle to get time away and it's so nice being able to just jump in a vehicle and drive to the marina and head off into the sunset without all the stress and mucking about of having a boat at home. I don't think I could ever get tired of exploring all the nooks and crannies on lake Te Anau and all the hunting and fishing and sightseeing in that amazing little corner of the world. She has a galley with sink and oven and fridge etc on board along with a toilet in its own room, double berth up front and the couch in the saloon turns into another double berth, bbq in the cockpit and plenty of solar to keep everything topped up. Has a Simrad GO9 install and diesel heater etc. I'm looking for a wee inflatable to use as a tender as limited to beach landings at present. Look forward to plenty of happy times onboard, I'm even looking forward to winter!

Man that's awesome. We have been looking for a boat and have come to the same conclusion. Are you able to water ski behind it or is that asking a bit much ?
