    Slider rigs made for cheap!

Ship jigs, Baku Baku , the lot are basicly a painted sinker with a skirt with double braided hooks ( sharp we barstards ) with a sharp price ..from $14-24 a throw...so me and a young bloke brought some skirts with double hooks and painted ( nail polished some sinkers and made our own. Not perfect but effective! And cheaper!

Things to change ..put sinker in a vice and grind a flat side on both edges , making them easy to paint and put eyes on ..buy sharp as fuck hooks and some kingi braid and squid skirts and make our own skirt/hook rigs ..

Tips go to the wharehouse get your nail polish there $8 for four bottles ...get a clear coat with glitter also ..double coat with base layer then clear coat ..give coats time no rush ...do a differnt sizes of sinkers skirt size suits all ...

    Photos to follow..

Few changes to make ..will post them as we make them..not overly complicated ..just shorten the braid and adding a solid ring rather than a swivel etc..working on at present

$ 14 door nail polish should do over 10 sinkers bright yellow (eye) pink blue red and a clear coat with glitter
    One vivid marker for eyes
$10 2 x skirts with hooks etc prettied
    $1 each Sinkers vairious sizes
Swivels ? Or stainless rings ..taken off ex kingi rigs or a packet of.

Time beer and yarns and general bullshiting ...say $40

Catching fish on a rig we made ...priceless

You can make the assist rigs pretty easy and if you switch to octopus skirts which work just as well, they can be bought cheap.

    Nice one Stingray.
Have tried a very similar thing myself. Didn’t even bother to paint the leads and they seem to catch fish very well.
