A lot of these have saltwater rated hooks 5/0-7/0 and are 21 and 28g. Thought I’d ask your opinions? Softbait on the back.

All of those will work a treat. Just ask @stingray
Those weights will require shallow water though. Golden Bay magic.
Experience. What you get just after you needed it.
They will be killer for casting ahead of the drift and working the lure back towards the boat in water to 20 metres (maybe 30 metres on a very calm day). Add Gulp softies for the really hard days, otherwise ZMan or some other synthetic.
They would probably work in shallow tasman/ golden bay in summer.
Winter fishing is generally when people go to the artificial baits here when the snapper go deep..60-100m deep is typical winter snapper fishing in top of south.
Not to say they cant be caught shallower but that is where the bulk of them are.
Lures like a Shimano Baku Baku are generally used in that deeper fishery here.
"Hunting and fishing" fucking over licenced firearms owners since ages ago.
308Win One chambering to rule them all.
They look like Nathan's Scoots on The Lateral line. He fishes then just like a softbait.
Shearer, Cam and others what colors do you guys like on the heads? Also, 66g? 94g?
We don't have many jigs like those in the stores here.
Variety is the spice of life as far as colors go.
Bring em all.
I’m bringing it all brothers!!! These here I could get maybe $2 apiece here but I’d rather use em there and then give em to my kiwi brothers and sisters so they can go to bangoville. You people are the reason we’re moving there…yeah yeah yeah…it’s pretty and good fishin/huntin but we’re coming to live amongst you people and spend the next 40 years trying to give and help you all as much as you will give and help us.
Stingray has already got a lifetime supply of fishing shit coming his way that he’s never even seen before
21 to 28 gram, so that's roughly 3/4 ounce to full ounce. Those weights will work all year round in Northland. Two things differ though to the standard lure presentation that a lot of us use up here. 1: Hook presentation. All my lures the hook is presented at the bottom, not the top. Not saying it won't work though.
2: Leader tie off point. For drift casting all my lures tie off on the nose of the jighead. I note that all lures presented in the first picture tie off on the top centre of the jighead. Not sure how well they will present. Only one way to find out.
The second picture, all lures look like light weight surface cast and retrieve. Will work on Kahawai for sure, possibly Trevally too. Snapper, not so much. Be fun trying though.
Those a wiggle warts, backtrolling for salmon. Maybe your bigger trout will eat em*♂️ I’m bringing 40 years worth of fishing stuff, it’s absurd the amount of crap I have…we can all use it when I get there
I’ll get a couple of burleys and packs of pilchards, then you can fish with toys with one rod!
Then fish like a grown up with another!
Just like this young bloke! I say no more!
Stingrays rating baiting! Bring on the summer !
