    Snorkel

Been staying at my parents so when I seen it was raining , asked them if they would look after my daughter ( mother back in chch working) . Was off like a robbers dog and headed out with a x paua diver from picton , we had the kitchen sink in the way of arsenal you name it we where going to catch it . First stop kinna ! Wtf never got those before . My buddy was over and could only find 3 paua and a kinna . He was in the water about 15 mins and came back sick as a dog , ( and out from then on )
So we went out dealer to get butters . His spot had 5 spearos there already as my mate was lying flat on bottom of boat was a safe spot to dive . Managed 6 butters all spooky too .quite good numbers of moki but all just under I'd guessed .
Was a fun dive but gutted my colleague was ill as it was flat as and he had good spots out further . Got a feed of mussels as well .

I can't wait for first feed of butters for season . I believe they are best kept for a day or night to firm up .
