    Thats bull shit ,as long as the fish frames are kept as proof of length there isn't problem with putting fillets in the fridge .The fillets will keep better if chilled in the fridge especially in summer temps.
    Same as every other fish that has a minimum size you need to keep the frames don't need to store guts .
    Those fishery officers need to go read the rules properly.
    Gun control means using both hands
