Thread: south otago coast

My brother inlaw has just moved up to a dairy farm in clutha valley and he cant seem to find any fish of the coast. Hes been out twice with no luck, anyone got any tips or starting points for him. He would even take a new crew member if it helped him get onto the fish.
6m alloy maclay and competent skipper.
Ive got a secret agenda by doing this as when summer rolls round I don't want to be going down there and catching nothing.
