    Squid

    The squid are back in close, my son is obsessed with fishing, and a bit of a gun when it comes to getting squid now
    One boy caught and cleaned, the other cooked it

    Nice moonhunt, dont mind a bit of calamari myself its just a prick to get both layers of skin of eh

    I'll tell the boy to try the live bait next time, he fishes off the rocks

    Fiddly dirty little buckers aye,thats why i get the boy to clean his catch haha, he's cunning though gave 4 away to the neighbours before i cottoned on

    Well done to the young fellah MH. I love the stuff but there is a fine line between cooking calamari well and going a tad to far and producing rubber. I wouldn't mind betting that VC's super heated pan secret has a lot to do with how good it turns out.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

    Deep fried invbutter and garlic with some thinly sliced Paua.. better than crayfish. bugger the kingis bring on the squid!

    I could go a bowl of Curried squid ,haven't had it for a long time .

    Chinese takeaway use to do it when I lived in CHCH ,was wicked .
    Gun control means using both hands
