    Tekapo canals

I'm thinking of heading up to Tekapo on Sunday and having a go at fishing the canals has anyone got any good advice they can share as I've never fished around there before

    Cheers Antz

It generally helps if the hooky bit goes in the water.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!

You tube is your friend Antz . Malcolm Bell has some soft bait tutorials (short & bang on ) He owns Complete Angler in Ch Ch , He knows his stuff when it come to those Canals . Gear up with Jig heads ,soft baits , & pams frozen shrimp or prawn with small hooks . Both methods work . Good Luck .

Ill allow that Munsey. I must be being nice to people to only be called a prick. Usually a lot worse is said.

Rushy would just spill his beer in the canal and then scoop up all the fishies when they float to the top!!!
