Thread: Welly wharf fishing

Took the wee one out for his first spot of fishing today in a beauty Welly day today.
Had his rod and jacket in the car and a bucket of bread for a bit of "no fail" spotty fishing.
So we get there and mix up the bread mush and start spooning it in for burly, whack a squiddy tentacle on the hook and fling it in. Damn not even a spotty
Not even a glimps of one or a single bite.
We used to get pissed off at all the spottys when I was younger????

So does anyone know of a kid friendly place to get a fish on? We tried lowery bay boat ramp wharf and point Howard today. With poor results

Was still a great day in the end with ice cream and fish and chips for lunch but geez. I was really hoping to get something
