Just about the best opening ever. First lift of the day. Ended up with 12kgs between the wife and myself fishing on two different stands.

Took the boy out after school today for a couple of hours 201 grams, but as he said it’s just fun being out there.

Went again after school today I took my net this time as well and we got 1.2kg
Very slow start here on the Waikato River. Picked up half a kg on opening that was clean but old, it had been in the river a few days. Nothing at all since and no reported catches anywhere. River has been very dirty with all the rain but is clearing up nicely now, should see some fish soon.
Best day for us today 1kg. Thats it, no pic, or any more details. Taken a week to get almost 6lbs

Well today was our best experience blind scooping of rocks, 2kg in 1 hr. rest of the time you could count them. Haven't got to half what we got last season and only 3 weeks left.
