I went to climb it back in '94 but it was out of condition, so climbed Malte Brun and Aguillie Rouge instead. You'll need a bit more than a head for heights and fitnes to climb it, unless you pay a guide to take you up the Linda.
If you are really keen the Technical Mountaineering course run by Alpine Guides at Mt Cook would be a good place to start, otherwise look up you local section of the NZ Alpine Club.

That's a couple of impressive ticks there stug!! Would love to climb those one day
