Thread: Comyns Hut

Track has been impassable since last years floods. Was dozed after the first lot of floods, but last years floods undid all the good work. You will need landowner permission to get a quad to the public land. Has had a lot of pressure lately, firstly TA trail walkers. Dont expect a spare bed at the hut, need to carry a tent. And there been hunters vehicles parked at the road for at least 4 days a week for the past 3 or 4 weeks and often 3 vehicles there at weekends. Have yet to see a heavy pack come back out, and no heads to date. Talked to a few of the hunters and most are saying its a big yomp to even find animals.
