    Duck ville hut

Has anyone been to it? I've gotten a bit along the track but only for a day hunt and back to base camp.

The track seems to get very over grown and a bit hard to find. Especially once you get to the water fall.

I have been told that it's easier and quicker to just go over the ridge a bit further north.

    Cheers

We flew in there years ago, some nice country but it's very steep. Lot of Rusa sign when we were in there don't know what it's like now but it should be ok.

Cheers. Will have a look at the prices for a chopper. If my first attempt at walking through fails I'll try over the ridge and the chopper in

Mate walks it over the ridge. Takes a bloody long time but plenty of deer.

I will let you know. Its getting to the stage when I should be doing a fly in. Not the new hunter I once was.

@Russian 22. did you end up going on this trip? i'm flying into duckville for 4 days in July, i assume it's much the same as downstream with less hunting pressure?

The only real downer for your trip, could be the possibility that feral dogs have taken up residence for while.
Will cause mayhem if your their while they are.

Shit that'll be something different for me, have you ran into wild dogs before?
