Thread: Iron gate

That pic of the burn above Rangi hut someone posted on here recently - at a pinch the ridge the pic was taken from on the opposite side of the burn gully goes straight down to Iron Gate. Not sure why you would if you are hunting 'cos you should have a deer soon after coming off the tops. But it is alternative access and I have done it. The return trip up is worse that coming out of triangle though.
