Thread: Last minute help outdoors!

Hello there, help need!

I am looking for a cheap hut/camping kind accomodation for around Tekapo area for this long weekend… It was a last minute decision and we are 2 adults and 3 kids, we have a camper van but space for 2 people only.
we are all members of the NZDA and even a hut with "easy" access will do us.

Tried the military camp? Have stayed there as part of large groups in the past. There is a campsite on the side of the lake as well

Ring "Tekapo Cottages". Ask for Stephen.
Tell him Bruce from Wellington referred you. (you can google them for their number).

They are 100 yards from the Church of the Good Shepherd. Stephen can also put you onto a cottage up the lake that I used last time if he doesn't have something cheap himself. He will bend over backwards to assist.
