My day out during the roar.

Long weekend and it's "roar time", so what's a bloke to do? stay away from the bloody hills is what! The old girl over the road from me turned 90 the other week, had her pic and a write up in the local rag, wife discovered yesterday that the old girl only had firewood enough to get through untill end of May, not much spare money and not the sort that asks for help. So today, this lot is my roar day out.

Shit that's awesome! Best roar story I've seen yet.

    That man deserves a DB!

Well the first thing to point out is that men (real men) don’t drink a training beer like DB. Clearly if she is 90, the old duck down the road that 257weatherby is generously helping out (good on ya fellah) must have drunk a fair bit of the elixir of life (that Waikato is), in her time on this side of the daisies as she is still knocking on.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

It's free. It's dry. It arrives on your doorstep cut to fit your fire. Burns well and leaves little ash. No problem really.

Fire woods, except all those soft woods, how difficult to collect those hard woods from south island? Would `t need to be big log, branches sort of, diameters are no bigger than your forearms.

My big saws chain is indeed full chisel, and rakers have been fettled a little, but Berger didn't make it.
