Thread: Odlins rd/Waiotauru hut

Hey guys, it's been about two years since I was last in there, how's access up to the hut? I was planning on taking my boys up there on the quad for lunch and a look around. I was reading online that there were bollards or "tank traps" at the entrance and at the saddle, also that there was a slip about half way in. Can anyone confirm this?

Awesome thanks for that @craigc, no ended up taking the boys to takapari. Will definitely go for a look at odlins now I know the hut is still accessible via quad. Makes the trip alot easier for young fellas legs.
