    Tracks non maintained so if you like pushing through 8ft high scrub, stinging nettle and bush lawyer its the go to

    Have a couple of times Hut is getting a substantial rebuild at the moment thanks to funding from The Back Country Hut Trust they flew 7 loads of materials in last Sunday

    The middle section is tiger country I went in at 7pm so got caught in the dark lost the track at one point ..... had a sit down quick feed then picked it up again good sense of direction and bush skills needed in the dark

    Yep.
    My old man etc used to hunt it long ago. They got 27 deer in a day, all skinny and as small as goats. Was like walking a highway.

    Regardless that uphill to the Plateau always got me. My old man put me on his back one day. Still reminds me of that small fact. I remind him I was but a baby…still.

    Gets a few so you arent the only one I felt it last weekend got dehydrated and left too much sweat on the track
