    Adjustable (height wise) tow hitches

Just updated my vehicle and the 50mm removable tow hitch tongue is about 100-150mm too high. The domestic trailer follows like a dog with an itchy butt.

Any recommendations/advice please on the height adjustable units. I note some are rated at 2 tonne; I want 3 tonne as I tow a caravan periodically.

I've got a removable lowered height towbar that I used on my Ford Everest.
If it's of interest i no longer need it I'll send a pic if you are keen

Mine only need to be 2ton. Doesn't have 2" receiver, Uses two bolts inline down the centre, would have to measure them up

I have one in aluminum for work. It's epic. Got them for a good price as we bought about 10 of them. I'll see if I can get a photo and where we bought from. They go up and down.

Here's the type we bought. 50mm hitch, 6" adjustment and 3500kg towing.

The range of what we think and do is limited by what we fail to notice. And because we fail to notice that we fail to notice, there is little we can do to change; until we notice how failing to notice shapes our thoughts and deeds

Yep, looks good. I appreciate the input being made by those in the know. Simply put, I don’t want to purchase any rubbish.

We tow our scissor lifters which are around 2 ton+ with mostly Rangers. Same issue with the tow ball being too high. This fixed it for us.
