    Ads

Have just today noticed a million ads on the forum, making you click an x before you can read a forum post and dodge pop ups when scrolling. Appreciate there is currently no fee for using the forum, but if there are admin costs that need to be covered, I would much prefer to chip in a few bucks than have my life intruded by ads. Is it possible to start a premium subscription for $5/year or something where there are no ads?

The problem is the amount of space on the screen covered with ads. I don't mind adds much because it's a legit way to raise some money. But 40% of the screen? Really?

Ah so it isn’t just me. Annoying as all hell.

Between site crashing and 1/2 page of adds it is annoying but is a free site so can't complain to loudly.
Have met some great people thru this site so happy to persevere with a few ads as I ignore them any way.

It's 2021 - what on earth is anyone doing on the internet without a decent ad blocker?

I allow the banner ads top and bottom. That's all.

I have noticed it too starting from today getting pounded with ads.

On similar frustrations, I have found Tapatalk to be a real arse trying to engage with the forum over the last 12 months. It often doesn't load the forum threads, or only some (after multiple attempts), glitches regularly and i seem to be always closing out and going back into the app just to see a few threads before it poops again. It could be the ploy from Tapatalk to get me to pay the 'Premium' subscription?

Its not just my Samsung phone either, does that same on my iPad
