    Buy/sell access conditions for new users?

    I've got a friend who is having trouble seeing the buy and sell, and after searching I can't find the rules/conditions that govern when someone gets buy/sell access.

    Anyone able to post a link to the rules?
    I'd guess it's something like:
    - Signed in as a member
    - ? amount of time as a member
    - ? number of posts

    we don't post the qualifying factors as that is the only way we have been able to curb the massive influx of scammers....tell your mate to contribute and hang around he will be granted access in due course....
    we've had a few members ripped off and that is a few members too many and a not insignificant amount of money in some cases, unfortunately it is what it is.

    My mate has been shadow banned and has not gotten access to the buy and sell after a 2 week wait and random interactions. He tried creating a new account today but now gets a scam link when clicking continue asking for card details.

    Not saying it's the case with these people, but to my mind there are far too many people just using this place as a trading post and scanning for bargains. And never contributing anything else. Some "trading" members have 10 or 12 or more pages of nothing else but buy and sell. This is leveraging the forum for personal gain.

    Yeah I noticed one guy in here the other day.
    In the for sale section selling something.
    Been here for several years but 20.or so posts.
    Yip you guessed it. Maybe one out of the whole lot was a for sale thread or comment.
