    Editing Posts

What's happened to the "Edit Post' function? I recently made a thread called "Baby Sharks and Seaweed" but I misspelled "and" came out "ad" instead. Tried to correct the mistake but thread title still shows the misspelling, then tried to delete post to redo the whole thread and the delete option is gone. Why? What's happened?

Pretty sure there is a time limit after posting for editing/deleting. After a certain amount of time you can’t do it.

I know, I realized my mistake less than a minute after posting, the edit option was there but didn't work

It appears you have 30 minutes to do any editing, and can only do an edit twice. I tried doing one three times and no go. For big edits I have found it simpler to just use the delete function and start again.

It wouldn't give me the delete option even only after three minutes after posting. The menu for editing looked like it had been changed

Hmmm. Editing a post can certainly be a frustrating exercise on occasion. Fortunately most of us just see typo’s and auto correct them in our heads as we are reading.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
