Hydro dipping is not that durable in my experience when compared to durecote or ceracote. If your really want the fancy patterns of hydro dipping I believe there a clear duracotes that could done over it.
Red dot rifles in Dorkland has done fantastic work for me on a few items
Blueing and wood is for the olden days, looks nice but modern options outproform. I hate rust and swelling wood
Do you have a few examples of work done in the past by any chance?
In your opinion what have you found better out of the duracote and cerakote? Have you only used red dot rifles? If so what's their pricing like?
