Thread: Login and password resets

I have a friend that wants to return to the site, hasnt been on here for a few years but is a lurker. He is trying to login.
problem is he cant remember his password and cant remember his login name
He has his email adress and when he tries to create a new login he gets the message that this email adress is currently in use.
Can an admin help out please?

I could reset it if he knew his login name / screen name, even if he could narrow it down to a few options I'd be happy to have a look.
I'm not entirely sure how to search users by email address though, if that is even a thing.
If you can narrow username down flick me a pm and I'll see what I can do, otherwise I'll have to step aside and see if any of the other mods can assist.
